Execute routine and advanced lab tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
Evaluate test results for precision, rectify any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
Document procedures meticulously, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain high-quality lab standards.
Preserve a clean, safe laboratory environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
