Full Time RPSGT Needed - Nights

Full Time, Part Time, or PRN RPSGT needed for our Fishkill, NY location #urgentlyhiring Up to a 15k sign on bonus! MedBridge Healthcare is seeking an experienced RPSGT (Technologist) or RT/CRT, to work 3-4 night per week from 8pm-6am . Competitive hourly rates available depending on experience, with 2:1 ratio.
MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (Physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history), and to determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols
Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to the patient
Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments if necessary.
Verify patient video recording(s) is operating properly per laboratory standard protocol
to ensure collection of appropriate data.
Follow “lights out” procedures to establish and document baseline values (such as body position, oxyhemoglobin saturation, respiratory and heart rates, etc.)
Perform Polysomnographic data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact- free and make adjustments, if necessary.
Document observations every 20 minutes on recording and in technical comments to include: sleep stage, clinical events, position changes, pressure changes, SaO2 values, heart rate, and respiratory rate, changes in procedure, and significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
High school diploma required
Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required
RPSGT and/or CRT/RT license(s) also preferred
Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT"
Proof of immunizations required
The employee is required to use his/her hands to operate office equipment.
