Civil Construction Engineering I

Our Dallas, TX Office has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Civil/Roadway Engineer(s) to join our Roadway Design Team. This role has the potential to grow into a Roadway Design Task Lead or Project Manager.Develop highway geometrics, 3D models, drainage and storm water management, signing and striping, erosion and sediment control, and utility coordination.Planning and schematic design through PS&E design and into construction while applying engineering techniques, procedures, and standards.Follow through company’s established quality control and quality assurance procedures to perform quality control checks and ensure design plans implement required design standards and specifications.Work with a team of engineers (EITs and professionals) to successfully deliver projects while implementing client focused specifications and needs.Provide guidance and oversight to technical engineering staff ranging from junior to mid-level.Develop plans quantities and engineering estimates and develop construction specifications.Provide construction support, including plan reviews, response to contractor when questions arise, and project progress oversight.Lead or assist in tracking project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure completion of project timely and within budget.Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.Professional Engineering (P.A minimum of 7 years of relevant engineering experience.Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze engineering problems and design effective solutions.Experience with industry-standard design software including MicroStation, Open Roads, InRoads/Geopack.
