Employment Type: Full Time Department: Surgery Surgical Services Nursing Shift: Day Travel: No As our RNFA, you will champion excellence across multiple ORs and PACU bays, bridging frontline care with strategic leadership to redefine surgical outcomes. Every day, you will inspire and empower our perioperative nursing team, translating organizational goals into action that elevates patient experience, strengthens community engagement, and ensures world-class care. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including supervision of OR Technicians. Directly assists surgeon intraoperatively, assists with patient positioning and directing other surgical team members while practicing perioperative nursing. Experience in both scrub and circulating RN roles Registered Nurse: CA RN License Certified Nurse Operating Room - CNOR Experience as RN and First Assist in CVOR, Ortho, Neuro, General, Robotics, GYN, Advanced Endoscopy, Hybrid procedures and urology highly preferred Founded in 1946, Dignity Health - French Hospital Medical Center is a 112-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in San Luis Obispo, California.
