Head of Engineering Programme Management

Interfaces with operations, engineering and supplier stakeholders to provide materials and components for Oracle data center passive fiber cabling.
Leads cross line of business teams to drive competitive cost, supplier performance and supply chain efficiencies. Create and implement supply chain initiatives & improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices. Creates an environment that allows for exploration and deployment of new ideas. Builds constructive stakeholder relationships which involve direct interaction and influence with different Oracle lines of business and Oracle suppliers. Acts as the primary interface in the management of the supplier relationships.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
This role will have led commercial responsibility for data center passive fiber cabling products such as patch cords, trunks and bulk fiber products. It will involve quoting, negotiating, contracting, awarding, and managing the passive fiber cable products from inventory procurement through product deliveries to end destinations. Learning agility and strategic sourcing skills are critical for success in this role, as the successful candidate will be expected to manage moderate to high complexity supply chain optimization projects that many cases will involve collaboration with product management, finance, legal, trade compliance, engineering, and procurement team members. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, negotiations, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.

Evaluate submitted proposals/quotes against Oracle standards.
Manage data center passive fiber cabling product suppliers that meet stakeholder requirements.
Track and provide supplier performance feedback to ensure Oracle standards are achieved.
Develop constructive stakeholder relationships which involve direct interaction with different Oracle lines of business and Oracle networking suppliers.
S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.
