Forge & Build is hiring a Yard Associate at our facility in Ashland, MO , and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

The Yard Associate is responsible for maintaining daily yard operations and standards, ensuring an excellent customer experience while upholding safety standards throughout the yard at all times.

Manage yard inventory control and procedures, including staging, loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, cycle counts, and transfers. Maintain a safe, hazard-free, and organized yard in accordance with company standards. This includes general yard and building cleanup, routine inspections, maintenance, repairs, and equipment cleaning.

Ensure all safety requirements and training are completed.

Deliver a high standard of customer experience.

Assist with various other duties as assigned by the Yard Supervisor or Store Manager

Ability to operate and maintain all equipment and vehicles in the yard, strictly adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.

Adaptable and agile to quickly learn new and changing technologies and processes.

Embodies the EquipmentShare mission and culture and adheres to all company employee policies.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience with providing a great customer experience.

Basic math proficiency for calculating quantities and ensuring accurate inventory counts.

Effective and consistent communication skills with internal and external customers.

Must be able to work outdoors in extreme and varying weather conditions and temperatures.

regularly lift and/or move objects, equipment parts, and tools up to 50 pounds or more; Spend extended periods standing and walking on varying, possibly uneven surfaces, maneuvering throughout the yard and around large equipment/obstacles. Dexterity: Use hands, fingers, and arms to manipulate tools, equipment, and small parts with precision and control. Safety: Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, steel‑toed boots, and hearing protection at all times.

Technology: Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
