Description:
This position is for a Physical Therapist specializing in inpatient rehabilitation.
The role involves working with an adult patient population including those with strokes, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries, debility, amputations, spinal cord injuries, and cardiac/pulmonary patients.
Common diagnoses include neurological disorders such as myopathy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease.
The facility includes 40 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1.
Therapists and nursing staff work closely together to provide cohesive patient care.
The dress code requires Caribbean blue scrubs, and no blue jeans are permitted.
Additional preference is for candidates who can demonstrate effective collaboration within a team.
Ideal candidates should be prepared to work with specialized equipment such as Lite Gait, Biodex, and Zero-G.
Experience with electronic health record systems is also beneficial.
