The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level care and will collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care.Responsibilities\n \n Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.\n Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in a medical step-down/intermediate care setting.\n Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to promote quality patient outcomes.\n Deliver evidence-based care while maintaining a patient- and family-centered approach.\n Demonstrate professionalism, respect, involvement, dignity, and excellence in all aspects of patient care.\n Maintain accurate documentation and utilize electronic medical records and computer systems effectively.\n Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.\n Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements.\n Required Qualifications\n \n Minimum 1 year of recent Intermediate Care / Step-Down RN experience.\n Strong patient assessment skills.\n Experience in Intermediate Care Nursing and Step-Down Nursing.\n Excellent communication and computer skills.\n Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.\n Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.\n Strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.\n \n About Prime Staffing\n \n At Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
