Position: Occupational Therapist
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Unit Information
Number of Beds: 205
Level: II Trauma Center
Staffing:
Physical Therapists: 20
Occupational Therapists: 12
Day Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Patient Ratios: 12 patients per day
Equipment: Standard for rehabilitation services
EMR: Meditech
Qualifications
Required Skills
~ Must possess acute care experience, including clinical rotations during education.
Preferred Skills
~ Experience with complex trauma and neuro patients is highly desirable.
Typical Procedures
The unit focuses on standard mobility and Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Personality Fit
Candidates should demonstrate a high level of accountability and the ability to work autonomously.
Licensure
Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas.
Floating Areas
Willingness to cover various areas of the hospital as needed.
Dress Code
Scrub Color/Attire: Hunter green
Weekend and On-Call Requirements
Will be required to cover a Saturday or Sunday shift weekly while contracted.
