Housekeeper Hospitality Hotel - Innkeeper

Hotel Indigo is seeking to add more Housekeepers to our team!

We receive stellar reviews for customer service. We need up to 3 housekeepers. Weekends are required, primarily day shifts (9 am to 3 pm). Previous work as a housekeeper in a hotel environment is REQUIRED.

Possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service and cleanliness to our guests.

Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor, wearing the brand‑approved uniform and name tag.

Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all areas, ensuring guests trust our housekeeping staff.

Clean and stock all guest rooms as assigned, including changing linens, replacing supplies, dusting, vacuuming, stocking supplies, emptying trash, removing used linens and room service items, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, tubs, and sink, dusting, polishing furniture, straightening furnishings, and appliances.

Keep Head Housekeeper informed of room status on a timely basis.

Take pride in your work, strictly adhering to all Federal, State, Local and Brand health, safety and sanitary guidelines.

Follow all safe chemical handling procedures according to the chemical manufacturer’s instructions.

Keep workspace, storage rooms, housekeeping carts clean, well‑organized, and stocked.

Observe the condition of furniture, walls, trim, carpet, and appliances; report deficiencies following hotel policies.

Keep lines of communication open within the housekeeping department; participate in daily stand‑up meetings, housekeeping, and all staff meetings.

Assist in quarterly, spring, fall, and annual cleaning duties as assigned.

Participate in and support a positive, enjoyable work environment.

Hold an understanding of hotel products and services (e.g., food and beverage, recreation).

Ability to communicate with hotel staff, guests, and management in a professional manner.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Read, write, and speak English.

Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures.

Housekeeping training completed within the acceptable time frame, as required by the brand.

Maintain a high level of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Have a thorough understanding of all shift duties.

Experience or Training Required

1‑year hospitality experience (REQUIRED).

Complete housekeeping training program within the brand required time frame.

Cleaning lobby and public areas as needed.

Help with laundry, as needed.

Restock, inventory, and put away supplies when they are delivered.
