Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician with advanced microbiology experience, including plate reading, to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality laboratory services and supporting patient care in a community hospital setting.
Responsibilities
Perform microbiology testing with a focus on plate reading and sensitivity testing.
Conduct blood bank procedures and analyses as required.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective patient management.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Stay updated with current laboratory practices and technologies.
Required Experience / Certifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
Certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
Proven experience in clinical microbiology.
Strong skills in plate reading and sensitivity identification.
