Salesperson - Evenings

Overview Stevenson-Hendrick Honda - Jacksonville Location: 2221 N Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, North Carolina 28546.

Sells new or used vehicles at a profit to the dealership, while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Meet dealership sales goals.

Greet customers and determine make, type and quality of vehicle desired.

Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom or on demonstration drive.

Suggest optional equipment for customer to purchase.

Compute and quote sales price, including tax, trade‑in allowance and discount.

Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including preparing sales slip or sales contract.

Research availability of models and optional equipment.

Address customer concerns.

Participate in required training.

Follow safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrate the company’s core values and comply with company policies and procedures.

Observe all federal, state, local and company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

Qualifications Education: GED, High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree or Doctorate Degree (desired).

Field of Study/Work Experience: Accounting, Automotive, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology.

Desired Work Experience: Up to 3 years; prior sales and/or customer service experience desired.

Valid Driver’s License and Automobile Salesperson License.

Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products; intermediate ability to learn web applications for customer management.

Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions, and to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
