General Practice/Emergency Associate Veterinarian

Veterinary Medical & Emergency Center is seeking a compassionate, driven Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Port St. Whether you're a recent DVM graduate or an experienced veterinarian ready for a change, this is a great opportunity to build a rewarding career alongside a dedicated, experienced team.
Our hospital provides both comprehensive everyday wellness care and 24/7 emergency and critical care support, giving our veterinarians the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients while also making a real difference when pets need us most. We have 9 exam rooms, 6 incredibly trained GP veterinarians + additional ER veterinarians and 3 GP vets on shift per day. We are seeking a general practice veterinarian to work 7am-5:30pm with rotating Saturdays. There are NO on call shifts.

Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases
Perform wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, and preventive services
Utilize in-house diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, and other advanced tools
Lucie community
DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary program
Active or eligible Florida veterinary license
Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for animals and their owners
New graduates and experienced veterinarians alike are encouraged to apply — mentorship available
