CNC Machinist III-2nd Shift (Edwards Vacuum)

CNC Machinist III are highly skilled professionals responsible for advanced machining operations, mentoring others, and contributing to technical problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, quality, and SOP compliance.

Lead root‑cause analysis in collaboration with engineers and team leaders when technical issues arise.

Mentor and train junior machinists, supporting skill development and team knowledge transfer.

8+ years of CNC machining experience with demonstrated technical leadership.

Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and CNC programming basics.

Hand and Finger Use/Dexterity: Hand, finger, and manual dexterity for precise manipulation and assembly are required nearly continuously.

Upright stationary position continuously or almost continuously, with occasional traveling to position materials or equipment.

Frequent movement, transport, or positioning of materials and tools; Continuous or almost continuous repetitive machine operation and arm/leg use; Other Environmental Factors: Exposed to hazardous equipment, contaminants, noise, or minor injury risks daily; protective equipment such as glasses, hearing protection, gloves, safety shoes is required daily.
