Material Handler
Snelling Staffing is hiring for Material Handlers for a plant in Hammond, IN.
Weekly Paid!!!
Shift is 6 AM 2:30 PM
Excellent room to grow with a national company!!
Pick orders using an RF scanning gun
Move product and material using a forklift or pallet jack
Open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools
Manually load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves, or trucks and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
Convey materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or another device
High School Diploma or GED required
Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Forklift certification or willing to be certified
RF scanning and forklift experience a must
Walking and/or standing for 8-10 hours
Pulling, climbing, pushing, bending, balance, kneel, squatting and reaching overhead
Lift or move up to 50lbs
Operate a forklift (must have been previously certification)
Casual wear with steel toe boots
