lephante is a coastal Italian restaurant in Santa Monica known for fresh Mediterranean flavors, wood-fired pizzas, and handmade pastasserved in one of LA's most stunning oceanfront settings. We're looking for a dedicated Prep Cook to keep our kitchen running smoothly and help set the stage for exceptional dining experiences.
If you're detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about food, this is your chance to grow with a dynamic culinary team just steps from the beach.
Wash, chop, portion, and prep ingredients according to recipes
Keep your station (and the entire kitchen) clean, organized, and fully stocked
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols for labeling and storage
Report equipment issues promptly to management
Uphold Department of Health and company sanitation standards
Previous prep or line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
Food Handler's Certificate (can be obtained after hire)
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
