RN Flexible Nursing

Prosper Infusion is seeking registered nurses (1099) to perform home infusion therapy for patients in Fort Myers/Naples. We aim to build a team of reliable independent contractors who can respond quickly to referrals and patient requests. Ideal candidates are highly flexible with scheduling, comfortable with technology, and proficient in communication.

This is currently an independent contractor position with growth opportunities within the company, if desired.

Responsibilities

Administer intravenous (IV) infusions, intramuscular (IM) and/or subcutaneous (SC) injections in patients' homes

Educate and inform patients about IV and SC therapies in person and by phone

Work with patients in a friendly, calm, and efficient manner while maintaining safety

Provide consultations to patients and/or family members, review health history, reasons for therapy, and complete all required forms (e.g., consent, assessments, nursing notes)

Prepare clinical and progress notes, help coordinate services, and inform the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient’s condition and needs

Initiate appropriate preventative nursing procedures

Work with our pharmacists to plan and order supplies

Consult with Prosper Infusion pharmacists and the Medical Director, as needed

Maintain high ethics and integrity and be able to work independently and as part of a team

Adhere to all policies and procedures and maintain compliance at all times

Assist with other services as needed

Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner

Qualifications

Prior experience with administration of IV therapies and infusion pumps is required.

Nurses are required to hold their own professional malpractice insurance for this role.
