PACU Registered Nurse (RN)This position requires a dedicated and skilled PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will be responsible for recovering patients from both general and moderate sedation anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort during the recovery process.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall recovery progress.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.Educate patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery expectations.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in PACU and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.Demonstrated proficiency in ICU skills and patient management.Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.Work EnvironmentOur PACU operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 3:1 in Pre-Op and 2:1 during recovery, handling approximately 130-150 cases daily. There are no on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.LocationThis position is available in City, State.
