Full Time Driver/Material Handler

BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company, is seeking detailed oriented and highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Line Driver in the Materials Handling Department at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant in Kingsport, TN. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to transporting material via trailer throughout the plant, performing daily inspections of vehicle (Tractor-Trailer), keeping up with paperwork associated with job, and communicating with other departments.

Physical Demands include climbing in and out of truck at least 25 times per shift. Mental and/or Visual Demands: Basic understanding of truck/trailer and fork truck operations - please detail experience in your application / resume.

Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver's license.

CDL Class A

Previous experience operating farm equipment.

Previous experience in driving a forklift.

Previous experience in working on shipping docks.

Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Full-Time Salary Range: $29093 - $46550

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
