Medical-Surgical RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

4x12-Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with weekdays and weekends included.

Join our team as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) providing high-quality care to acute medical-surgical patients. This fast-paced environment requires adaptability and clinical expertise, making a significant impact on patient outcomes. Our nursing staff works collaboratively to ensure safe and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care and support for complex medical conditions.

Manage and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor patient progress and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize care plans.

Perform essential nursing procedures and documentation using Cerner EMR.

Educate patients and families on care plans and health maintenance strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Nurse (RN) License required (West Virginia or Compact License).
• 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS must be current and include proof at the time of submission.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is essential.
