Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Salem, Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 Shift

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialization in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-directed, and possess strong OB clinical skills to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic maternity care setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide care during labor and delivery, including cesarean sections.

Offer postpartum care and newborn care, adhering to best practices.

Perform OBED triage and patient inductions as needed.

Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including midwives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Must have OB experience.

Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN.

Preferred experience as a cesarean section circulator, first assistant, or scrub.
