Material Handler/Forklift Driver
The Material Handler/Forklift Driver is responsible for moving, organizing, and distributing materials throughout the production area to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing process. You will operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport parts and finished products, helping to maintain inventory accuracy and ensuring that production deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and shipping/receiving docks.
Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and organization of materials.
Assist with inventory management, including tracking and labeling parts and materials.
Ensure the material handling area is clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
Work closely with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed for assembly and manufacturing.
Perform regular checks on forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, maintaining a safe work environment.
Assist with other duties as needed to support the production process.
Qualifications

Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
Previous experience as a material handler or forklift driver in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and material handling.
Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Preferred Skills

Experience with warehouse management software or ERP systems.
Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in material handling.
