Human Resources Coordinator Opportunity - Arbour Hospital
Arbour Hospital has been serving the greater Boston area since 1909, providing care for psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and a continuum of specialized behavioral health services. The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support to the Human Resources Department including applicant and new hire administration, recruiting for vacant positions, conducting employee orientations, maintaining personnel records, responding to correspondence, and other HR related duties.

Responsibilities
Assist in all personnel issues in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and federal and state guidelines.
Prepare personnel files and maintain records as per facility and corporate policies.
Audit personnel files, ensuring information is current and accurate.
Conduct employee benefit orientations, open enrollment meetings, and enroll employees in health insurance and 401(k) when eligible.
Coordinate with Corporate Human Resources and prepare requested reports for the Corporate Human Resources Office and HR Director.
Validate and update licenses of all current employees through the appropriate licensing board and update files.
Obtain appropriate paperwork for employee benefit authorizations, input all personnel information and status changes into HRIS, and inform payroll accordingly.
Provide consultation and training to facility management regarding employee relations issues, counseling, and termination procedures.
Monitor performance appraisal reminders and mechanisms for processing salary transactions and recordkeeping.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Two years of prior related experience.
One year of prior administrative or executive assistant experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and adapt quickly.
Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with HRIS systems desired.
Healthcare HR experience preferred.
