In this rewarding role, you will provide instruction, supervision, and support to individuals in both facility-based adult day program. We serve communities across Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, 37.5 hours per week.

In this role, you'll develop personalized lesson plans and materials tailored to individual needs, leading both in-person and remote classes while planning community outings and coordinating recreational activities. You'll conduct one-on-one training sessions to set goals, monitor progress, and document outcomes, while also supervising and coaching groups at work and volunteer sites to enhance their skills and work behaviors. Instruction will focus on sensory-motor skills, communication, cognition, and social-emotional development, along with support for personal hygiene and daily living activities. You'll implement behavioral support programs, track data, and collaborate on Individual Service Plans and Person-Centered Plans. Prior experience supporting or instructing individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; Must be comfortable with assisting with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living, which may include feeding, lifting, transferring, toileting, range of motion; Patience, compassion, and the ability to interact with individuals with disabilities, their family members, social workers, employers, and others in a positive and constructive manner.

Must have a valid California driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, 5 years of driving experience, and be eligible for coverage on PathPoint's auto insurance policy.

High school diploma or GED is required.
