Active RN License, degree from accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care oncology setting. Other requirements determined by client facility.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Oncology RN will care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, implement new symptom treatments, monitor progress, and create a supportive environment. May specialize in pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages, focusing on the acute phase.

Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal, manage disease and treatment, and may administer chemotherapy.

Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, and disease particularities.
