Secret Clearance

An opportunity is available for a Software Systems Engineer to support an Advance Weapons Business Unit. In this role, you will define software requirements and perform functional decomposition of subsystem specifications. This position is 100% on-site.

Translate system and subsystem level software requirements into software level requirements for each Computer Software Configuration Item (CSCI).

Collaborate with System and Software engineers to develop software architecture models.

Support the verification and validation of the software product to ensure all integrated CSCIs function as intended.

Conduct requirements analysis, requirements allocation, system design, software design, and software implementation.

Perform software testing, system integration, field integration testing, and requirements verification.

Write and execute Software Test Plans and Test Descriptions.

Experience in systems engineering tools, such as DOORS and CAMEO.

Experience in Embedded Software, with the ability to read code and verify implementation per Software Requirements Specifications.

Experience with system, subsystem, software, and hardware integration, test, and verification.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain a DOD Secret clearance

Active DOD Secret Clearance

Experience in multiple aerospace and defense technologies such as sensors, navigation aids, guidance electronics, controls, propulsion, structures, or platforms.
