2nd Shift OpeningsCompounder is responsible for accurately measuring and mixing raw material ingredients in accordance with formulas and instructions. Packages and labels approved batches.Weigh Up Tech is responsible for the dispensing and correctly weighing raw material chemicals in accordance with SOPs and batch record requirementsEssential Responsibilities and Functions include:Reviews assigned formulas for compounding and packaging requirements, ensuring proper sequence of mixing. Completes assigned batches in allotted timeRetrieves ingredients as indicated on the formula, ensuring only QC approved ingredients are usedAccurately measures ingredients using scalesRecords substitutions, over-pours, etc., ensuring supervisor approval is obtainedNotifies supervisor of missing raw materials needed to complete batchPackages approved batches and labels all finished product containersStocks supplies and labels containers of raw materials when neededUses equipment that is in proper working condition and cleans equipmentCompletes end-of-day proceduresMaintains clean and safe work area, and adheres to safety regulations and procedures, understanding the hazards of handling the various chemicalsMinimum Qualifications:High School or equivalency preferred (reading, writing, computing numbers); Basic math and the use of computersMinimum 2 years chemical compounding experience or weigh up preferredAbility to understand the importance of chemical handling safety, and adhere to safety regulations, guidelines, and proceduresAbility to handle heavy materials and lift 50 pounds, including drums#2960
