RDA/DENTAL ASSISTANCE

The Pediatric Dental Assistant supports the clinical team in delivering outstanding patient care while ensuring an efficient and comfortable experience for children and their families. Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care

Take and record dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with state regulations

Ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed

Provide chairside assistance including suctioning, instrument transfer, and charting

Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Support office flow by preparing rooms and turning over operatories efficiently

Assist with inventory management and stocking of clinical supplies

Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies and procedures

Prior dental assisting experience preferred (pediatric experience a plus)

Dental Assistant certification as required by state

Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) Passion for working with children
