Develop treatment plans with involvement in family/support systems to meet the individual’s functional goals. Provides direct supervision of support personal as related to patient care.

Develop treatment plans with involvement in family/support systems to meet the individual’s functional goals. Provides direct supervision of support personal as related to patient care.

Records and reports patient’s progress towards established goals, and data related to care in the patient’s medical record/chart. Delegates and supervises activities of physical therapy assistants and technicians, to assure efficient use of department resources.

Provides competent patient care to the above indicated patient populations by obtaining and appropriately interpreting data, making appropriate decisions based on demonstrated knowledge of age-specific growth and development, and appropriately adapting procedures and treatments.

Graduate of Physical Therapy Program.

Ability to have good relationships with people while dealing with a variety of physical disabilities. Must be able to read, write and/or speak English.

Must provide proof of Mandatory Reporting for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training prior to employment or within 6 months of hire and maintain current status per State of Iowa guidelines.
