6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience

24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations.

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live 50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Credentials: Pass/fail open-book exam during orientation on Friday on skills learned; must receive a 90% to pass.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Unit Details

Inpatient rehab unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with stroke, SCI, amputee, BI, critical illness, and neurological diseases including MS and Parkinson's. Patient ratios: Days 1:5; Nights 1:6. Common drips include antibiotics, anticoagulation, and antiplatelets; RNs do not titrate drips. Nurse aides/patient care techs available at 1:10-15.

Shift & Scheduling

Cyclic self-scheduling. Minimum every 3rd weekend. Minimum 2 holidays. No call.

Floating Requirements

Will float to MedSurg.

Time Off

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days.

Other Requirements

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months.

Driver’s License

Driver’s license required for submission.
