Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide care in a long-term care environment for older adults. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while promoting dignity and respect for all residents.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and oversight of nursing staff.
Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and make independent care decisions.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, particularly with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Administer wound care and manage care for geriatric residents.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health care regulations and standards.
Requirements
Current New York State RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a long-term care setting.
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
Compassionate attitude and commitment to providing respectful care to residents.
