Schedule: Full-time hospital-based position with regular rounds and surveillance activities
Highlights:
Function as a key member of the facility's quality and infection prevention team
Conduct comprehensive hospital surveillance to identify and track healthcare-related infections
Collaborate with system-level leadership and contribute to policy development across multiple facilities
Perform regular departmental audits and physical rounds to ensure compliance with infection prevention standards
Oversee infection control protocols related to construction, renovation, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization processes

Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or ability to obtain
Experience in infection prevention, quality improvement, or hospital epidemiology preferred
Knowledge of public reporting requirements for healthcare-associated infections
Strong analytical and communication skills for education and policy development
Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred or willingness to obtain
