AEROSPACE CNC Programmers

CNC Turning/Lathe Set-Up Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turning/Lathe Set-Up Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up and run CNC machines, utilizing your skills to teach and mentor others.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Lathes (2-axis and multi-axis) such as Eurotech, Hardinge, Wasino, and Okuma.

Work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other work instructions.

Set tools, change tools, and edit programs using Fanuc and/or Okuma controls.

Use standard gauges and inspection techniques.

Ensure quality by employing SPC, inspection documentation, and problem-solving techniques.

Essential Skills

Minimum 3 years of set-up experience on CNC Lathes.

Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Okuma controls.

Proficiency in using standard gauges and inspection techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with aerospace products and/or close tolerance parts is a plus.

Ability to teach and mentor others.

Demonstrated progression within machine operation.

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Hartford, CT.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Medical, dental, vision, 401 k
