We operate in Canada as Engineered Lifting Systems and Equipment (ELS)/DBA Gorbel Canada, and subsequent communication related to Canadian positions may show the ELS name. Under the guidance of the Electrical Engineering Manager and electrical engineers, conceptualize, and develop material handling products using sound electrical engineering principles

Support internal and external customers in product use and application as required

Adhere to project timelines and budgets

Participate in Product Development department and company projects as assigned

Participate in functional and accelerated life tests to ensure product reliability and performance

Provide support and documentation to enable company staff to quote and source materials

Participate in the identification and recommendation of new material handling technology solutions

Serve as a technical resource to other departments as required

Create and maintain CAD product detail drawings, adhering to suitable standards

Create and maintain product bills of material and routings

Execute engineering change notices as required

Assist in design and documentation of new and revised electrical circuits

Provide technical assistance both within and outside the department

Assist in the design and fabrication of new product prototype units

Assist in the testing of new products and revisions including functional, accelerated life, abusive and ultimate tests and prepare associated test reports

Enrollment in a 4 year Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology degree program

Highly motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines and high quality requirements

Familiarity with test engineering processes/electrical test procedures

Solidworks/AutoCAD

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
