Join Corning Incorporated's Supply Chain Development Program to gain experience through three 8-month job rotations in Integrated Planning, Logistics, and Procurement. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of best practices and processes in Supply Chain Management, preparing participants for future roles within Corning's Supply Chain organization. Key responsibilities include working on Corporate Supply Chain initiatives including strategic sourcing, transportation and logistics, and integrated planning.
Ensure the assured supply of materials, equipment, and services at competitive costs while minimizing inventories and optimizing materials utilization.
Forecasting analysis and tracking
Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate supply chain options, and manage supplier relationships.
Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise.
Monitor supplier deliveries to reduce the risk of stockouts.
Develop short term production schedules aligning with demand forecasts and inventory policies
Track overall key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to senior management
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain
Other procurement, logistics, and planning activities as needed not otherwise identified
Bachelor degree required in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering.

1-3 years related education / business / project management or technical experience
~ Customer focus: understanding customer requirements and objective
Financial / Analytic skills: collects, analyzes & leverages data
Proficiency in contract writing and management.
Project management expertise.
Supply chain knowledge and experience.
Appreciation for diversity in people and ideas.
Travel Requirements
Travel as needed, including occasional trips to various Corning sites and vendor locations
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time
Typical workweek of 40+ hours, Monday to Friday.

The range for this position is $63,000.00 - $86,625.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
