It's having a part in building a better future. Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products or pipes.

Fabricate and construct piping segments and attach fittings that require field fit-up, erection, and assembly.

Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.

Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.

Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding.

Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.

Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Minimum of 3 years of pipe welding (field) to include all the following procedures:

Must be able to pass an in-house welding test (6G criteria)

Material Handling: lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs. Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places.
