RN - MedSurg/Tele

● About Facility:
· Level 3 Trauma
· Teaching Hospital? Unit Information:

• 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
• Various diagnoses – Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, etc.
• RN: 1:5-6 (Day and Night) - in surge staffing could see ratios of up to 1:7-8

· RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), general medical/surgical skillset – care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.
• Charge nurse – may have patient assignment, always a resource for staff

• Phlebotomy
• Hospitalist – on site Dayshift; Virtual in evenings/overnight
• Intensivist, 24/7
• Telemetry monitoring – remote with Tele tech

● Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC-at least 6 months experience required (please include how much experience in offer)
• Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable

▪ If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
● Orientation (facility and unit) :

• Weekend rotation: every other
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
