Engineering Geologist: The client is seeking a full-time, onsite Engineering Geologist for interviewhelp.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering, or a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering. Key responsibilities include conducting field investigations, performing engineering analyses, preparing technical reports, and providing construction observation and testing. Experience with limit equilibrium slope stability analysis, numerical modeling, surveying, drone piloting, photogrammetry, and CAD is desirable but not required. The job offers cash and/or equity compensation.
Job Overview: The client is seeking a staff level engineer with either a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering, or a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering. The successful candidate should have excellent technical and communication skills, have a positive attitude, be hard working and have the ability to drive to and conduct field investigations at project sites. Responsibilities could include exploratory drilling and sampling, engineering analyses, surveying, preparing technical reports, and providing construction observation and testing. Experience with limit equilibrium slope stability analysis, numerical modeling, surveying, drone piloting and photogrammetry, and CAD are desirable, though not required.
Duration: Full-time
Conduct field investigations, including exploratory drilling, soil sampling, and geotechnical surveys at project sites. Perform engineering analyses, including limit equilibrium slope stability analysis and numerical modeling. Prepare detailed technical reports, documenting findings, analyses, and recommendations. Provide construction observation and testing to ensure compliance with project specifications. Utilize surveying equipment, CAD software, and other tools to support engineering projects. Assist with drone piloting and photogrammetry for site assessments (if applicable). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical findings into overall project designs.
