Contract | Night Shift | Every other weekend and every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a surgical cardiac setting
Monitor and interpret telemetry data for post-surgical cardiac patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
Current BLS certification
Experience in surgical cardiac or telemetry nursing
Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification
Prior experience in a high-acuity cardiac or step-down unit
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems and cardiac rhythms
