Testing Systems Engineering

As a Unit Level Intelligence (ULI) Toolkit Test Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of the ULI product line prior to placement into the operational environment. Travel up to 10% may be required. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining test plans, strategies, and cases, executing manual and automated testing procedures, identifying and managing defects, developing and maintaining automated test scripts, conducting performance tests, collaborating with stakeholders, documenting test activities, identifying process improvements, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, and mentoring other team members.

Test Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on system requirements and design documents. Test Design: Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data to validate system functionality. Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools. Defect Management: Identify, document, and report defects using defect tracking systems. Work closely with system administrators, engineers and help desk teams to reproduce, isolate, and verify fixes for defects.

Utilize various automation frameworks to support regression testing and continuous integration.

Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure the system meets performance criteria under expected load conditions. Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.

Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals.

Ensure that testing activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies. Implement and adhere to quality assurance processes and methodologies.

Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior test engineers and other team members. Mentor team members on best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Active DOD Top Secret SCI security clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of Systems Testing Experience

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Selenium, QTP, Junit)

Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
