What You Will Do
Conduct both routine and intricate clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhering to established guidelines.
Evaluate test results for consistency, rectify errors, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Assist with the collection of specimens and the preparation of samples for analysis, as necessary.
Document all procedures accurately, facilitate the training of new employees or students, and assist in maintaining lab quality standards.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Education Requirements
~ A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or similar allied health degree, with ASCP/AMT certification readiness.

Certifications Needed
ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
