Golf Shop Attendant - Weekends Only

River Oaks Golf Course Cart AttendantRiver Oaks Golf Course is seeking a Cart Attendant! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.General Purpose: As a key member of the property's golf operations team, the Cart Attendant reports directly to the General Manager or Golf Shop Supervisor and attends to the golf cart fleet, as well as other duties as directed. Compensation: $15 - $16 per hour Position Responsibilities:Maintains a professional appearance.Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day.Cleans, waters, checks carts after each use, and restocks as required.Cleans and maintains the cart barn.Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times.Receives and communicates complaints to the Golf Shop.Works closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournaments.Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:Must have strong customer/guest orientation.Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.Must be dependable.Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred.Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.Must have a valid driver's license.Must be available to work weekends, closing and holidays, no exceptions.Benefits:Employees age 19+ are eligible for the 401(k) plan.All employees are eligible to participate in the Employee Assistance Program.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
