JOB SUMMARY As a Cook at Habit Burger & Grill, you’ll bring our food to life—from our famous Charburgers to fresh salads. You’ll rotate through kitchen stations like Fryer, Broiler, Make-Up, and Quarterback, learning each step of the process. We’ll train you on everything, including food safety and kitchen cleanliness, and help you grow your skills along the way.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Correctly prepare all foods served following standard recipes, working on several different orders simultaneously.

Restocks food items and kitchen supplies; stores and rotates food properly and safely.

Operate cooking equipment such as flat grills, char broiler, fryer, slicer, etc.

Comply with all established standards, including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform.

Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques.

cleans and maintains equipment, cooking surfaces and utensils used in food preparation.

auditory and visual skills; WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a kitchen environment housed with equipment such as a char broiler, flat grill, slicer, and chef’s knives. The Team Member is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire, and noise.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 1 year of experience in related food service position preferred.

Food Handler’s Card/Certification may be required according to local and/or state regulations.

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.
