RN / Perioperative Nursing Job in D

Position Overview Responsible for delivering professional nursing care in the operating room during surgical and invasive procedures.
Key Responsibilities Perform scrub functions by selecting and handling instruments and supplies during procedures.
Conduct circulating duties, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions, and managing overall nursing care.
Assist surgeons with tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures.
Qualifications & Skills Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
Current BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
Preferred: OR experience and diploma from an accredited nursing school.
Additional Information This role involves rotating shifts including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
