Job Description An Associate Attorney with 3+ years' personal injury experience is needed for a hybrid position in Austin. The Associate Attorney will represent clients in personal injury cases, handling matters from intake through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully managing personal injury cases, excellent communication skills, and courtroom experience.
Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death cases.
Conduct thorough investigations and legal research to develop case strategies.
Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including depositions, motion hearings, mediations, and trials.
Provide strategic legal advice to clients regarding their case, including assessing liability, damages, and potential outcomes.
Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and experts to prepare for trial and other case milestones.
Stay informed on relevant personal injury laws, case precedents, and court rulings to deliver up-to-date legal counsel.
Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 3+ years of professional experience in personal injury litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
