The Career Pathway Recruiter is essential in strategizing, implementing, and facilitating recruitment efforts for career pathways within WSU Tech. You will work closely with prospective students and community partners to identify and attract individuals to our programs that lead to meaningful careers.
Promotes WSU Tech as an educational option with a focus on (but not limited too) potential new adult students.
Develop and grow partnership strategies with employers offering tuition reimbursement or workforce development programs and drive adult learner enrollment
Facilitates the admissions process by assisting potential new students with applications and connecting to subsequent steps.
Capable of public speaking to groups of varying ages (elementary to adult) and sizes. Effectively utilizes tools of communication, including email, telephone, face-to-face meetings, and electronic advising notes.
Acts as liaison between appropriate Academic Advisor and student to encourage transition from inquiry to enrolled.
At all times, engages in and promotes teamwork, interdepartmental communication, courtesy, legal compliance, policy compliance, and safety in the WSU TECH workplace.
High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred.

Two or more years of experience in higher education or related fields such as recruitment, admissions, talent acquisition, sales, student services, or school counseling preferred but not required.
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including students, faculty, and staff.
proficiency in standard computer applications.
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Reliable transportation required to travel between service sites as needed.
