Process Automation Engineering

The Process Engineer, Threading plays a critical role in driving process improvement, quality, and operational efficiency within our threading operations. This role partners closely with operators and leadership to reduce variation, implement innovative solutions, and ensure safe, consistent production outcomes.Your Role at a GlanceDrive daily problem solving to improve quality, productivity, and reduce downtimeMonitor and control key process variables to reduce variation and improve consistencyLead and support short- and long-term improvement projects, including new technologies and cost reduction initiativesProvide technical support across threading processes and related finishing operationsDevelop and sustain process improvements through documentation, training, and auditingCollaborate with automation engineering on process control systems and real-time data integrationSupport plant trials, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives across operationsPartner with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including off-hours support as neededWhat Sets You ApartWe’re looking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related); Master’s preferred1-3+ years of experience in pipe threading operations or heavy industrial environments preferredStrong problem-solving skills with experience in lean and quality methodologiesKnowledge of CNC processes, threading inspection, and dimensional tolerancingExperience with process data collection, analysis, and modern analytical toolsProficiency in Microsoft O365 and database platformsAbility to lead cross-functional collaboration and build strong shop-floor relationshipsLean/Six Sigma certification preferredWhat Powers Your PerformanceSuccess in this role is driven by a strong mix of personal ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
