Laborer Utility Crew

Laborer – Utility Crew We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Laborer to join our 4-person pipe crew. This position plays a key support role in underground utility installation and excavation projects. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in teamwork, and is ready to contribute to a productive and safety-focused job site.

Responsibilities Assist the pipe layer and equipment operator during excavation and pipe installation.

Set up and help maintain level lasers and pipe lasers for accurate grade and alignment.

Communicate effectively with the crew to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Perform physical labor including lifting, shoveling, grading, and trench maintenance.

Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Lift and carry heavy materials and tools (50+ pounds).

Follow all company and safety procedures on site.

Assist with material handling and site cleanup as needed.

Support all members of the crew to complete projects on time and to quality standards.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Experience in excavation, underground utilities, or construction is a plus , but not required — training will be provided.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Comfortable working long hours outdoors in all weather conditions.

Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a close-knit team.

Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new skills.

Dependable transportation to and from the job site.

Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Work in standing, kneeling, or crouched positions for extended periods.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
