Nurse Hospital Care - Surgery RN

Location: Englewood, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7A - 7P
Job Description: The OR department consists of 14 operating rooms, including 1 Hybrid CV OR and 1 Cysto room, and serves a 408-bed hospital. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team of 60 staff members, including RNs, CSTs, and Anesthesia Techs, working together to ensure optimal patient care during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:

Assist in various surgical procedures, including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spinal surgeries.
Maintain patient safety and provide excellent patient care during operations.
Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation flow.
Participate in on-call duties as scheduled.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Experience in circulating and scrubbing preferred.
Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus.
