Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with complex infectious diseases. Provide Direct Patient Care:** Assist patients with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, comfort measures, and safety needs while maintaining strict infection control protocols appropriate to the unit's special pathogen environment

• *Support Clinical Excellence:** Collaborate with the RN to gather patient information, monitor vital signs, and report observations that inform individualized care planning and patient outcomes
• *Maintain Safety Standards:** Adhere to infection prevention protocols, proper handling techniques, and safety procedures to protect patients, yourself, and the healthcare team in this specialized infectious disease setting
• *Contribute to Team Success:** Actively participate in unit operations, communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, and uphold Henry Ford Health System's Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions
• *Embrace Professional Growth:** Engage in continuing education opportunities and skill development to advance your clinical competency and stay current with infectious disease best practices
• *Ensure Patient Comfort:** Create a supportive, dignified environment for patients with complex medical conditions, recognizing the unique challenges they face and the specialized care they require

High school diploma or G.Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Patient Assistant Technician (PAT)) but perform the same job role.
Completion of a Medical Assistant program with or without experience.
At least one (1) year of previous experience in an NA, PCT, PAT, or similar job role.
May be currently enrolled in a nursing program and have successfully completed the Fundamentals of Nursing course.
Foreign trained and licensed RN who has relocated to the United States and does not hold a Michigan RN license
